ACMS is looking for expressions of interest from Chamber Musicians to develop an offshoot of ACMS Sydney, to encourage the playing of Chamber Music in this region.
Former ACMS president Rod Tuson, now solitarily engrossed in Bach Partitas, has stepped forward to organise a new regional group "ACMS Tablelands", which he intends should approximately include players within a 1 hour drive of Mitchell Conservatorium in Bathurst.
Initially Rod is looking for expressions of interest from current members and maybe-I'll-become-a-member's from the region. He would also be interested to hear from any remote region members (like those from Sydney) who would consider attending a 'Gong-type event in Bathurst or Orange, organised by the couple who wrote the 'Gong manual. (Not yet set up with the conservatoria, so don't get too eager!)
